I have a problem to connect a rigid wire to 3D wire beam element. I find some tutorial about how to constraint a rigid part to 3D solid. However it seems the prcedure diffrent in 3D wire? I wish if you could just give me some hints or refer me to another vedio? Thank you for shearing!

In case, if we use a strain gauge attached to a coupon sample for measuring the strains directly ,,does this strain is considered as Engineering or true strain ???

abaqus needs parametric design library for structural elements. Modelling each element one by one is not practical for professional use because most of the time structural engineers have limited time for design/analysis process. I cannot imagine designing a building with abaqus.

I was a bit confused in the load manager part. Maybe becasue of my own compreenhsion or were there some mistakes in phrasing? found it confusing, if someone could clarify it for me please. I don't know if i should put propagated or fix the bolt lenght.

Sir can you explain the other methods for pretension where we can't use the static and use the explicit analysis direct. Because in my case i have cyclic loading and can't use the static anlysis also there is increment issues in the static.

It's better to use Abaqus CAD interface (in Abaqus) coupled with Solidworks-Abaqus add-in (in Solidworks). Any change in solid work model will be carried to Abaqus. It's an extremely interactive process.
